Gytix is not owned by an equipment manufacturer, dealer or lender. We connect every brand in your yard, keep recording where the signal stops, and sell it month to month. If we stop earning the next month, you leave with your data and hardware.
Five ways we work
What you get on the first day, whatever plan you choose.
Every brand, one list
Manufacturer feeds by ISO 15143-3, our A1 gateways and trackers you already own report the same fields.
Works past the tower
The A1 stores 30 days offline; the A1S sends hours and faults by satellite every 15 minutes.
One chain, one record
A service coming due moves the dispatch board, the lowboy, the rental and the fuel plan with it.
Terms in writing
Written quotes, month-to-month plans, 30 days’ notice and unlimited users. Nothing to wait out.
Local field crews
Crews from Albuquerque cover New Mexico, West Texas, Arizona and southern Colorado, with photo sign-off per machine.
Our commitments, in writing
What we put on paper, and what each line means for your fleet.
| Commitment | What we put in writing | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Term | Month to month on every plan | You never wait out a contract to make a change |
| Notice to cancel | 30 days’ notice by email, with no cancellation fee | Leaving takes one email and one month |
| Data export | Full export any time as CSV or through the API, including after you cancel | Your hours and service history go where you go |
| Hardware ownership | A1, A1S, B1 and T1 devices sold outright, with a three-year replacement warranty | No device lease to keep paying or hand back |
| Price changes | 60 days’ written notice before any plan price changes | Two months to decide, on a plan you can leave in one |
| Renewal | No auto-renewing multi-year terms; annual prepay is optional | Nothing rolls into a longer contract while you are busy |
| Users | Unlimited users on every plan | Every operator, mechanic and superintendent gets a login |
What independent means here
Independent is a fact about ownership: no equipment manufacturer, dealer or lender owns Gytix. Nobody upstream gains when your fleet buys one brand over another, and your hours, faults and locations are never sold or shared with manufacturers, dealers or lenders. See how we protect and hand back your data.
Questions about our terms
What makes Gytix an independent equipment telematics provider?
Gytix is not owned by an equipment manufacturer, dealer or lender, and it connects every brand the same way. Manufacturer feeds that follow ISO 15143-3, our own A1 gateways and supported third-party trackers all report into one list, so no make gets better treatment than another.
Do we need Gytix hardware on every machine?
No. Machines that already report through a manufacturer feed (ISO 15143-3) or a supported third-party tracker connect with no Gytix hardware, and you keep the subscription you have. We fit A1 gateways only on machines that report nothing today, plus B1 trackers and T1 tags where you want them.
What happens to our data and trackers if we cancel?
You keep both. Give 30 days’ notice, export your full history as CSV or through the API, and the trackers stay yours because you bought them. After cancellation, we delete your data within 30 days of a written request, so nothing lingers on our side.
Can Gytix raise prices during our plan?
Only with 60 days’ written notice. Because plans run month to month, you can cancel with 30 days’ notice if a new price does not work for you. Hardware is bought once at the price on your quote, so a plan price change never touches the devices you own.
Why month to month instead of a multi-year contract?
Because the software should earn its place every month. Plans run month to month with 30 days’ notice and no auto-renewing multi-year terms. If you want to pay ahead, annual prepay is optional, and your written quote shows both totals so the choice is yours.
