Crews who know the road
Audits, installs, training and alerts watched around the clock.

Software does not bolt itself to a dozer. Our crews leave Albuquerque to audit the fleet, wire every machine to a written standard, train operators and mechanics in English or Spanish, and keep watch on alerts overnight.
Good software, half installed
A fleet system is only as good as its install and its first month. A gateway wired to the wrong circuit drains a battery. A tag riveted where the bucket wears it off goes quiet. A crew that never saw the app goes back to paper. Then the alerts start at 2 a.m., and nobody is assigned to read them.
What the crews leave behind
A fleet sized right
An audit shows which machines earn their place and which only show up in the payments.
Installs you can check
Every machine gets a photo record and a test report before the crew leaves the yard.
Crews that use it
Operators, mechanics and the office trained in English or Spanish, on their own machines.
Someone watching overnight
Fleet analysts watch theft, fault and overdue service alerts around the clock and act on them.
Field work, quoted up front
Fleet right-sizing audit
Three to four weeks of yard walks, hours and costs, ending in a keep, move, rent or sell list.
Installation and commissioning
A1 gateways, B1 trackers and T1 tags fitted to a written standard, with every machine photographed and tested.
Onboarding and training
A named onboarding lead, data import and training in English or Spanish. Included on Command from 25 machines.
Managed fleet desk
Fleet analysts watch theft, fault and service alerts day and night and act on the ones that matter.
What our crews bring
A written install standard
Mounting, fusing, wire routing and sealing set per machine class, the same on every job.
Photo sign-off
Photos of the mount, power, ground and harness for every machine, kept with its record.
Trained field installers
Installers trained on 12 and 24 volt heavy-equipment electrical systems.
Bilingual training
Operators, mechanics and the office trained on their own machines, in English or Spanish.
A named onboarding lead
One person owns the rollout from Survey to Run and stays your contact for 90 days.
Analysts with shop time
Desk and audit analysts come from heavy-equipment maintenance or equipment management work.
Example: a 48‑machine orchard and dairy near Las Cruces
A farm in the Mesilla Valley runs 48 machines across pecan orchards and a dairy: tree shakers, sweepers, harvesters, tractors, two wheel loaders and a skid steer. It wants everything connected before harvest. Our crew installs gateways and trackers over one week in October, working around the milking schedule. The onboarding lead trains the harvest crew in Spanish on the morning walkaround in the app. Through the season, the managed fleet desk watches the orchard machines overnight, when after-hours movement is the worry.
How our field work runs
Where crews go. Our crews are based in Albuquerque and work across New Mexico, the Permian Basin of West Texas, El Paso, Arizona and southern Colorado. We schedule crews by the week and batch nearby yards and leases into one trip. Installation travel is included anywhere in New Mexico. Outside New Mexico, a flat trip fee is quoted before the visit, so the invoice holds no surprises. Each area has its own page in our field service area.
The installation standard. Every install follows the same written standard: where the gateway mounts on each machine class, how power and ground are taken, how the harness is routed away from heat and pinch points, and how connectors are sealed against dust and washdown. The installer photographs each step and confirms that position, hours and fault codes reach the platform before the crew leaves. An A1 takes 30 to 45 minutes on most machines, and one crew fits 40 to 60 machines a week.
Audit before you buy more. A fleet right-sizing audit walks the yard and active jobs, matches every machine to its hours, repairs and owning cost, and ends with a keep, move, rent or sell list. It is a fixed fee for up to 150 machines and runs three to four weeks; larger fleets are quoted per fleet. Running the audit first means you install hardware only on the machines you keep.
The desk at night. The managed fleet desk is staffed by fleet analysts with heavy-equipment maintenance or equipment management backgrounds. They watch after-hours movement, tamper alerts, serious fault codes and overdue services around the clock, and follow an escalation list agreed with you during the Tune week: who gets a text at 2 a.m., and who gets the summary at 7.
Field service questions, answered
Where do Gytix field crews work?
Our crews work across New Mexico, the Permian Basin of West Texas, El Paso, Arizona and southern Colorado, from our base in Albuquerque. Installation travel is included in New Mexico. Outside New Mexico, we quote a flat trip fee before the visit. Software customers can be anywhere in the United States.
How long does a fleet tracker installation take?
One crew fits 40 to 60 machines a week, and an A1 gateway takes 30 to 45 minutes on most machines. We schedule crews by the week and work in your yard around your shifts, so a 100-machine fleet takes about two weeks of crew time.
Is fleet software training available in Spanish?
Yes. Onboarding and training run in English or Spanish, and the mobile app and inspection forms work in both. Training happens on your own machines and screens: operators learn the walkaround, mechanics the work orders, the office the reports. Extra on-site training days are charged by the day.
What does the managed fleet desk do?
It watches your fleet’s alerts around the clock so your team does not have to. Fleet analysts review after-hours movement, tamper alerts, serious fault codes and overdue services, then contact the person on your escalation list. It is billed per machine per month, month to month.
What does a fleet right-sizing audit include?
The audit lists every machine, attachment and tool, matches each to its hours, repairs and owning cost, and ends with a written keep, move, rent or sell recommendation. It takes three to four weeks for a fixed fee covering up to 150 machines. Larger fleets are quoted per fleet, and the written quote follows the walkthrough.
